Our Kids
CASA ChildrenCASA serves children of all ages, races and socio-economic backgrounds. Children with irresistible grins, vivid imaginations and incredible potential. All of them sharing one unfortunate commonality — each one has been a victim of abuse or neglect. CASA recognizes the importance of the sibling bond. A CASA volunteer advocated for these five brothers and sisters until they were adopted together in a safe and permanent home. Another great outcome for CASA children. Pamela Butler's Story
“I never had someone stand up for me like she (CASA) did. She stood
before the judge, the lawyers, my mother, and caseworkers and wasn't swayed by
their opinions. It completely amazed me. I trusted her more with every visit
and every call and found myself enjoying her check-ups and questioning. She
became not only an advocate, but a friend I could truly count on. To give a
child a CASA is to give them a voice. To give them a voice is to give them
hope, and to give them hope is to give them the world. I believe that with
all of my heart.”
