What is CASA?
A Court Appointed Special Advocate, also known as a CASA,
is a trained citizen, age 21 or older, who is appointed by
a judge to represent the best interests of abused and neglected
children in court.
CASA volunteers come from all walks of life,
with a variety of educational and ethnic backgrounds.
A CASA volunteer is an essential presence that reminds
everyone involved that at the heart of each case is a child
who deserves a safe and loving place to call home.
